Peter Storrie has thanked Pompey fans for their excellent behaviour at Spurs. Fratton Park’s executive chairman said it reflected the outstanding support Tony Adams’s side had received all season. Storrie, writing in his column in Pompey’s matchday programme for Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round tie with Swansea City at Fratton Park, said: I would just like to give you, the fans, a big round of applause for the immaculate way in which you have behaved this season. “As we all know, the spotlight was on us as much as Spurs last weekend and you did not let us down, keeping the banter very much within the limits, as it should be. “Your support both here at Fratton Park and when we travel away from home never ceases to amaze me - so thank you. “I know it makes such a difference to the players, so let’s get right behind Tony and the team against Swansea and help book our place in the next round.”
