Jermaine Pennant has been outstanding for Pompey since arriving on loan from Liverpool. Blues fans knew all about his pace, trickery and crossing ability before he joined the club. But since arriving at Fratton Park Pennant has also deeply impressed them with his commitment and work-rate. These qualities helped the 26-year-old win the Air Malta man-of-the-match award for his performance against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
