And at the centre of it all has been chief executive officer Peter Storrie.
In an exclusive interview with pfcTV, Storrie gives the inside track on his job steering the club through turbulent times to the takeover by Ali Al Faraj that has brought fresh hope for all Pompey fans.
Storrie hails the spirit of manager Paul Hart and the Blues team and reveals how overwhelmed he was when supporters chanted his name at Pompey’s last home game against Everton.
The Fratton chief looks forward to the January transfer window, welcomes Avram Grant to the club as director of football and discusses the imminent return of Harry Redknapp and his Spurs side to Fratton Park on October 17.
